Meet Winemaker Mark
Ever since we were home at Christmas and Mark went to the Thistle Meadow Wine Shop in Kernersville with my dad and his dad, he's been wanting to try to make his own wine. We finally went out and bought the supply kit and the wine kit on February 22nd and he got to work that night starting the 6 week to 6 month process.
After a bunch of sterilizing, mixing and measuring, he got the first step of the process finished on the evening of February 22nd.

The wine had to ferment for 2 weeks in this 6 gallon bucket (primary fermentation). The next step took place on March 8th when he had to siphon the wine out of the bucket into the clear water jug looking container below. And then he had to mix it up using his drill and some attachment. Now it's going through the secondary fermentation process. Apparently he'll know when it's ready by the color. In the meantime, we're on a mission to collect 32 wine bottles so we can bottle this stuff up when it's ready.
