Moving Day, Day 1...who knows when day 2 will be

Well, our stuff is here but we still don't have a house. We had asked if they could get there no earlier than 10 in hopes that we'd hear something about the house by then but no luck. Mark got a call around 8 that they were running a little later than planned and wouldn't be at the house until after 10:30. We got ready, gathered up Bentley and her stuff, loaded some more boxes in my car and then both headed to the house. Mark stopped by our real estate agent's office on the way to pick up the garage opener and I headed to the bank to get tip money for the movers.

The moving truck got to the house around 11 but still no news on the house so we started with a plan to move everything into the garage. I was given a checklist and was supposed to mark off numbers as they were unloaded into the car (1 - 475). Each box, piece of furniture, etc. was tagged with numbers when it was packed up and inventoried. Unfortunately for the movers, they had to take all the cloths off the furniture and re-wrap it with padded paper since they storing it again. We went at this all day with a short lunch break and finished around 4. We got to meet our neighbor to the left, Aaron, who seems really nice. I forgot to take a picture when they were done but the garage is full. It's going to be so much fun moving it all inside...HA.

Truck just arrived

Mark got a seat!

Bentley was really happy to see her pillow come off the truck and switched between laying on it and the blanket all day. When she wasn't standing at the door in the garage to get in the house :)

Inside the moving truck...almost done!

A good portion of the way done.
Now what seems to really be the hold up. We finally got some additional news from our real estate agent and it seems that somehow all of the info surrounding the purchase of the house got deleted from Bank of America's system. There is a negotiator involved and we're now pretty convinced he did something to delete the info, and I'd assume it was an accident. Why do we think this? He has started offering to pay for things and I'd think only a guilty person would do that. If we don't close by tomorrow, we have to redo all the loan docs and we'd have to pay interest for everyday we're in the house in February...which he has said he'd pay for. Then, we lost out on having the movers put all the stuff in the appropriate rooms and he's offered to give us money towards that as well. Hopefully all that money he's offering is enough incentive to get this done by tomorrow!
